Event Terms and Payment Policy

Advanced 401(k) Planning Session

Event Terms and Payment Policy

Effective Date: August 9, 2026

These Event Terms and Payment Policy apply to Tim Berry’s Advanced 401(k) Planning Session scheduled for October 22–24, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1.Event Details

The session is scheduled as follows:

  • Location: Dallas, Texas
  • Dates: October 22–24, 2026

The current planned format is:

  • Thursday, October 22: Arrival and group dinner
  • Friday, October 23: First working day
  • Saturday, October 24: Second working day

The exact venue, arrival instructions, and daily schedule will be provided to confirmed participants.

IRA Ideas may make reasonable changes to the schedule, venue, format, order of topics, meals, or other logistical details while preserving the central purpose and promised deliverables of the session.

2.Application and Acceptance

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance or reserve a seat.

An applicant may register only after receiving written acceptance from IRA Ideas.

Acceptance creates a limited payment window. It does not confirm a seat.

A seat becomes confirmed only when IRA Ideas successfully receives either:

  • The required $2,500 deposit; or
  • The full $7,500 registration payment

The payment window expires at the date and time stated in the acceptance communication or checkout page.

IRA Ideas may withdraw an unpaid acceptance after the payment deadline and offer the opportunity to another applicant.

3.Registration Price

The total registration price is $7,500 per participant. One paid registration admits one accepted participant.

The registration includes:

  • Advance preparation and review of the participant’s submitted information
  • Private call with Tim before Dallas
  • Thursday welcome dinner
  • Two full working days
  • Lunch and refreshments during the two working days
  • Personal Application Session with Tim
  • Personalized written Action Map
  • Private follow up with Tim within 30 days

Travel, lodging, transportation, personal expenses, implementation costs, document preparation, tax return preparation, valuation work, plan administration fees, investment expenses, and services beyond the scope of the session are not included.

4.Payment Options

An accepted applicant may choose either of the following:

Deposit Option

  • $2,500 due during the acceptance payment window
  • Remaining $5,000 due seven calendar days after the deposit is received

Pay-in-Full Option

  • $7,500 due during the acceptance payment window
  • No remaining balance

The first $2,500 paid under either option is the nonrefundable deposit, except when these terms specifically provide otherwise.

5.Balance Deadline

If the participant pays only the deposit, the remaining $5,000 must be received no later than the exact deadline stated on the invoice.

The deadline will be seven calendar days after the deposit is successfully received.

Failure to pay the balance by the deadline may result in:

  • Cancellation of the registration
  • Release of the seat to another applicant
  • Retention of the nonrefundable $2,500 deposit

IRA Ideas may extend a deadline in writing, but is not required to do so. An oral statement does not change a payment deadline.

6.Participant Cancellation and Refunds

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to [email protected].

The $2,500 Deposit

The $2,500 deposit is nonrefundable except when IRA Ideas cancels the session or reschedules it under the circumstances described below.

The deposit compensates IRA Ideas for:

  • Holding one of only five participant opportunities
  • Reviewing and processing the application
  • Beginning participant preparation
  • Reserving event capacity
  • Turning away or delaying other applicants
  • Administrative and planning work

Amounts Paid Above the Deposit

If written cancellation is received on or before September 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time, IRA Ideas will refund amounts paid above the $2,500 deposit.

If cancellation is received after that deadline:

  • The deposit remains nonrefundable
  • Any remaining registration payments are also nonrefundable
  • No refund is due for failure to attend, late arrival, early departure, incomplete preparation, or removal for serious misconduct

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method when reasonably possible.

7.Transfers and Substitutions

Registration may not be sold, assigned, transferred, or given to another person without written approval from IRA Ideas.

A proposed substitute must:

  • Submit the required information
  • Be reviewed by IRA Ideas
  • Be accepted as an appropriate participant
  • Agree to these Event Terms
  • Complete all preparation requirements

Approval is not guaranteed. No substitution may be made after September 15, 2026, unless IRA Ideas approves it in writing.

8.IRA Ideas Cancellation or Rescheduling

If IRA Ideas cancels the session and does not offer a rescheduled date, all registration payments received for the session will be refunded.

If IRA Ideas reschedules the session, the participant may:

  • Transfer all payments to the rescheduled session; or
  • Request a refund of all registration payments, including the deposit

The participant must request a refund within 10 calendar days after receiving the rescheduling notice. If no refund request is received within that period, the participant’s registration and payments will transfer to the rescheduled date.

IRA Ideas is not responsible for airfare, lodging, transportation, lost income, lost business opportunities, or other expenses resulting from cancellation, rescheduling, travel interruption, or a participant’s inability to attend.

Participants should consider refundable travel arrangements or appropriate travel insurance.

9.Participant Preparation

The value of the session depends in part on advance preparation.

Tim may request information concerning:

  • Retirement plan structures
  • Businesses and entities
  • Assets
  • Ownership
  • Proposed transactions
  • Questions
  • Decisions
  • Documents or information that may be relevant

Participants must provide information honestly and to the best of their knowledge.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, passwords, full account numbers, or complete confidential documents through public forms or ordinary email. Secure submission instructions will be provided when supporting documents are needed.

Failure to complete requested preparation may limit the work that can be completed during the session and does not create a right to a refund.

10.Action Map Completion Promise

A participant who substantially completes the requested advance preparation and attends both working days will receive the personalized written Action Map described in the event materials.

The Action Map may identify:

  • What should be investigated
  • What could create problems
  • What information or documents are still needed
  • What decisions need to be made
  • What should happen over the next 30, 60, and 90 days

If any part of the promised Action Map remains incomplete or unclear, Tim will continue working privately with the participant at no additional charge until the Action Map is complete and clear.

The Action Map Completion Promise applies only to:

  • The participant’s situation presented before and during the session
  • Completion of the promised Action Map
  • Reasonable clarification of the Action Map

The Action Map Completion Promise does not include:

  • Implementation of the Action Map
  • Preparation of legal documents
  • Tax return preparation
  • Plan document preparation or amendment
  • Valuation work
  • Investment selection or management
  • New matters first raised after the session
  • Facts or circumstances that materially change after the session

The Action Map Completion Promise is limited to completion and reasonable clarification of the participant’s written Action Map. It does not guarantee tax savings, a particular legal result, investment performance, protection from every possible risk, IRS or regulatory approval, acceptance by a custodian, administrator, court, agency, or other third party, or any particular financial outcome.

11.Educational and Planning Nature of the Session

The session includes advanced education, participant questions and discussion, private application of the material to each participant’s situation, and development of a written Action Map.

The session does not include every service that may later be required to carry out a participant’s plan.

Participants remain responsible for deciding whether and how to act on the information and planning developed during the session.

12.Attorney-Client Relationship

Applying, paying, attending the session, participating in educational discussions, receiving educational materials, or receiving an Action Map does not by itself establish an attorney-client relationship.

Any separate legal representation requires an appropriate conflict review, IRA Ideas’ express agreement to the representation, a defined scope of work, and a separate written engagement agreement when required.

13.Recording, Photography, and Media

Participants may not audio record the session, video record the session, livestream the session, photograph another participant or another participant’s materials without permission, record another participant without permission, redistribute session materials, or use artificial intelligence transcription or recording tools without written permission.

IRA Ideas will not publicly use an identifiable participant’s name, testimonial, photograph, recording, or submitted planning situation for marketing without permission or another lawful basis.

14.Participant Conduct

Participants must act professionally and respectfully.

IRA Ideas may remove a participant for conduct including harassment, threats, repeated disruption, unauthorized recording, misuse of event materials, fraud or material dishonesty, or conduct that threatens the safety or integrity of the session.

Removal for serious misconduct does not create a right to a refund.

15.Event Materials and Intellectual Property

All presentations, written materials, templates, recordings authorized by IRA Ideas, and other event content remain the property of IRA Ideas or the applicable owner.

Participants may use materials for their own personal or internal business planning. Participants may not: resell the materials, publish the materials, upload them publicly, use them to teach a competing program, distribute them to a mailing list, remove ownership notices, or record or reproduce the session without permission.

A participant may use and share their personalized written Action Map for their own personal, business, retirement, tax, estate, or planning purposes.

16.Travel and Lodging

The registration price does not include airfare, lodging, ground transportation, parking, personal meals outside those specifically provided, travel insurance, or personal expenses.

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements. IRA Ideas is not responsible for travel delays, missed transportation, lost luggage, weather disruptions, or other travel problems.

17.Events Outside Reasonable Control

IRA Ideas may cancel, relocate, delay, or reschedule the session because of circumstances outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disaster, fire, public-health emergency, government order, venue closure, travel disruption, serious illness, security threat, utility or technology failure, or other events that make the session unsafe, unlawful, or impractical.

The cancellation and rescheduling rights described in Section 8 will apply.

18.Payment Questions and Disputes

Participants should contact IRA Ideas promptly concerning a payment, cancellation, promised refund, or registration problem at [email protected].

Participants agree to give IRA Ideas a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address the issue before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

Nothing in these terms waives a right that cannot legally be waived.

19.Limitation of Event-Related Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IRA Ideas is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from travel arrangements, missed business opportunities, lost income, participant decisions or actions, conduct of another participant, or changes in law, regulation, market conditions, or participant circumstances.

Any registration fee refund obligation will be governed by these Event Terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

20.Governing Law and Venue

These Event Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the application, registration, payment, attendance, participation, or services provided in connection with the event will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any lawsuit or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these Event Terms or the event must be brought exclusively in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Dallas County, Texas, and each participant consents to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

21.General Terms

These Event Terms, the accepted applicant’s checkout agreement, and any separately signed event documents constitute the agreement concerning registration and attendance.

A separate written legal-engagement agreement controls any separate legal representation.

If one provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Changes to these terms must be made in writing by IRA Ideas.
